Celebrate New Year’s Eve with Petoskey District Library and Crooked Tree Arts Center on Sunday, December 31, for this annual community event! Beginning at 5:00pm, Mitchell Street will be closed off to vehicle traffic between Waukazoo and Division...
The activities inside the library are free and open to the public. The Library will close at 4:00pm on Sunday, then open back up from 6:00-9:00pm for music, arts, and crafts on the main floor of the Library. (Except for the restrooms, the other levels of the Library will be closed to the public during the celebration.) Kids can meet Mouse from the story "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" in the fireplace room and enjoy music by Jeff Pagel in the rotunda area. Back in the the Children's Program Room, our staff will be doing grade school level craft projects and we'll have other games going on in the Children's area, including some friendly, competitive chess games. Stop in and see us before watching the ball drop at 9:00pm!
