United Way of Northwest Michigan - CharEm Region Office, in partnership with the Petoskey District Library, will be hosting conversations with area nonprofits. On the first Thursday of every month, the audience will be introduced to a human services nonprofit helping our neighbors and find out how they can get involved in making our community better. There will be a time for Q&A at the end of the program. For the February 1st program, we will be hearing from Lisa Clavier from the Child Abuse Prevention and Education (CAPE) Council. Their mission is to prevent child abuse and neglect through increased public awareness and education.
